SRWare Iron is a web browser that can be used as an alternative to popular browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc. It is an open-source program that was created based on the source code of Chromium. SRWare Iron is similar to Google Chrome in many ways, especially when it comes to its graphical user interface, but if focuses on protecting the user’s privacy.
The version 23.0 of SRWare Iron comes with additional security improvements, and it is safe to say that it is better than Chrome at being secure. The hardware acceleration has also been improved. This leads to an increase in website rendering speed. Furthermore, a new feature which I consider to be very important was implemented: Do-Not-Track. It is a HTTP header-based tool that takes into account user preferences regarding third-party web tracking. Also, it includes a set of rules for web services on how they should comply with user preferences. I consider this to be a big plus for SRWare Iron, since Google has not implemented this feature and they have no plans to do so.
SRWare Iron is a very promising web browser with increasing popularity. You should definitely try it out.
